Essential service records
We do not rely on consent for every use of service-user information. Where necessary, we may process and retain essential records for service administration, eligibility, safeguarding, staff and volunteer safety, fraud or misuse prevention, complaints, audit, insurance, legal claims, charity governance, and accountability.
If support is restricted, suspended or refused, we may retain a limited restricted record so that decisions are applied consistently and people cannot bypass safeguarding, safety, fraud, misuse or service-integrity controls by asking for all records to be deleted.

We keep records only for as long as needed for service delivery, safeguarding, legal, insurance, audit, finance, operational, governance, reporting, archiving and accountability purposes.

I understand that withdrawing consent only affects processing that relies on consent. The Parish Trust may still retain and use the minimum necessary records where another lawful basis applies, including safeguarding, staff and volunteer safety, service restrictions, complaints, audit, insurance, legal claims and charity governance.
